Pastor Gary L. Jones and the Hernando Presbyterian Church welcome you to our website. The congregation meets and worships in a modified house.
An adult Sunday school class assembles in the sanctuary.  Our Christ-centered worship and teaching services occur in a very pleasant 'home' environment.

If you have a church home, we celebrate with you the joy of being in a Christian community. But if you are new to our area and/or are searching for a new church home, we hope you will accept our invitation to visit.

Hernando Presbyterian Church is a member of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian (ARP) Synod.

Sunday School: 9:45am. Study of Ezra
Worship: 11 am
Sunday Evening Study (Early Church History): 6:00pm
Wednesday Evening Bible Study/Devotional and Fellowship meal: 6:00pm

The entire Bible is first and foremost about Jesus Christ: The Old Testament predicts Him (Luke 24:25-27,44-46); the Gospels reveal Him; the book of Acts preaches Him; the Epistles explain Him; and Revelation expects Him.

Our mission is to glorify God through the spoken word, prayer, sacrament,
music,  service and example;  to promote the Reformed faith;  and to equip and support Christians in the Hernando area, in the United States and throughout the world.

Our Pastor: Gary L. Jones.

29 years of Pastoral Ministry experience.
Specializing in the areas of Christian Education and Pastoral Care.

Life  Verse for Ministry:  “For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister” (Heb.6:10).

In Revel.5:12- We read of a glorious heavenly multitude “saying with a loud voice: ‘Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!’ “---NKJV.

Many web options already exist for evangelism, Christian Education and serious discipleship.  Why then, does this website exist when the market (so to speak) is flooded and when other writers and churches do things so well?

Because Jesus Christ is worthy of this---and so much more.

We do not compete with fellow pastors and ministries, nor is it implied that other Christian web venues are failing in their responsibility to Jesus Christ. But---Jesus is worthy of Christian worship in every sphere and realm, including cyberspace.  We have no desire to drown out the voices of other Christians; however, it is appropriate that we join our voice to theirs in honor of the King of Kings.

One can never exaggerate the greatness of Jesus. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6). That means He is the Avenue of salvation, the Source of Truth, and the Giver of real and abundant life. "Without the way there is no going; without the truth there is no knowing; without the life there is no living."---Thomas a Kempis

Jesus Christ is worthy of every file, every posting, every keystroke which gives glory to God through Him. "To Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus though all generations, forever and ever. Amen." Eph.3:21

May you be encouraged, enriched, challenged and comprehensively blessed as you read from this site.
