Arkabutla Lake is 11 miles southwest of Hernando, and approximately 28 miles south of Memphis, Tennessee. At this Corps of Engineers' Lake and facilities, there are 2 swimming beaches, 46 primitive campsites, and 8 boat launching ramps.  Below are pictures of scenery from the disc golf course, Outlet Channel, East Arkabutla  and various hiking trails at different times of the year.

The Outlet channel portion of Arkabutla has abundant fishing opportunities as well as 84 picnic facilities, 1 reservable picnic shelter ($50/day) and a playground.
